In this week's episode, Claire and I talk about immediate murder, death threats in comic sans, and dealing with a coked up tween with hormones, in our discussion of A Study In Charlotte by Brittany Cavallero.
I'm not sure exactly what is going on in that picture, but it's probably something serious.
A Study In Charlotte is ... not quite a Sherlock retelling, but it is an adventure kind of in that universe. The main characters, Charlotte Holmes and Jamie Watson, are great-great-great-grandchildren of the famous detective and doctor and have finally met in real life at a boarding school in Connecticut and of course... there's an immediate murder! And they're blamed for it! Working together, Charlotte and Jamie have to figure out who is trying to frame them for murder using Sherlock Holmes stories, and, more importantly, WHY they are doing it, and MOST IMPORTANTLY, they have to survive to solve the case! Surely they do... right? Read the book, check out our summary and listen to our episode to find out all the details!
Until next time!
