This book is AMAZING and I'm so happy that it's going to have a second part. It's seriously perfection. The characters are all so quippy and funny but powerfully badass at the same time. Briseis and her moms are what family dreams are made of. Bri has known for a while that she can control plants, but then she accidentally discovers that she's immune to poison, too! Soon after this terrifying discovery, Bri's moms learn that the rent on their flower shop is going up, but luckily, or unluckily?, there's a death in Bri's birth family and she inherits a huge house with its own apothecary.
