In our most recent episode, Claire and I talked about Lumberjanes: Beware the Kitten Holy by Noelle Stevenson, Shannon Watters, Grace Ellis and Brooklyn Allen.
The Lumberjanes are a group of badass girl campers who, in the first volume of this series, take on a bearwoman, evil foxes, a river monster, living statues, yetis and rabid boyscouts and a bunch of other wild stuff. They're tough, they stick together and they save the day and we love them. We had a lot of fun discussing this graphic novel and its awesome illustrations. It was adorable and sweet and, like I said earlier, badass. This is a short episode this week, so the blog post is going to be short too. If you know me and Claire, which you probably do by now, you know we loved the Yetis that the Lumberjanes encountered best. We both wore our Fouke Monster shirts and Claire wore her Bigfoot hat, so you know we were excited. Here's a picture of us showing off our shirts.
